Adam's Excel financial modelling site

Home About Modelling Modelling Tools Modelling Guides Links

Welcome to my modelling website.  I hope this is a useful resource for all those people who spend longer than they care to admit with little rectangles in front of their eyes.  You know who you are :)

The content of this site is broadly as follows:

bulletAbout Modelling: there is a brief description of what financial modelling actually is
bulletModelling Approaches: as yet unstarted, I will explain here some modelling methodologies
bulletModelling Tools: I have developed a tool (it is an Excel add-in), of help both for building and reviewing spreadsheet models
bulletModelling Guides: some random thoughts on stuff that appeared clever to me at the time

I welcome any input, be it ideas for my tools, cool Excel features, neat VBA code or just interesting chat.  Here is how to contact me:

Sundry stuff

Currently the coolest thing is my Squeezebox, a network music player.  Almost as cool is Last.FM, which stores everything I've played and fails miserably to recommend interesting music I hadn't heard of, but I'm giving it time.  Here's what I've played in the last week:
